To get ready for tomorrow's Game w/ Devs livestream, we had some of the Treyarch developers share their favorite custom classes with us and describe how it works with their particular playstyle. Before you face off against these guys online, take a look at each of their load outs - you might pick up a tip or two!

I’m all about maintaining a high K/D. I’ll play any game mode, but my main objective in any mode is getting the most frags. Some would call me a Slayer, I just think it’s part of my job to roll the other team. Each of the people I play with has a pretty solidified roll, and mine is to rack up kills and earn Scorestreaks – aka supporting my team by ensuring the enemy team is always respawning. My class is all about having high mobility to flank and get through enemy lines, as well as being able to take down 2 to 3 enemies at a time or in a row – this is why I use the EVO with extended clip and laser sight. Busting into a room and being able to ADS or hipfire down several enemies before having to reload is key. And since I am always on the go and putting so many shots on targets, I roll with Scavenger to ensure I have enough ammo in my clip. To top it all off, I like to roll with Hardline so I can constantly be earning Scorestreaks, supporting my team.

I’m more of a K/D player than someone who plays to the objective – it’s just my style. My perks keep me mobile and fast: I can be accurate when I hip fire and aim down my sights with my primary, and stay silent when I need to when I use my pistol. My lethal and tactical equipment are just bonuses for me.

The team I play with tends to roll Domination quite a bit, so I’ve tailored a class specifically for capturing Domination points that works really well with my play style.  This class allows me to quickly make it to a point with Extreme Conditioning, lay some suppressive fire with my Mk 48 under smoke, all while being protected from any incoming projectiles thanks to the x2 Trophy System.  I also throw in Flak Jacket for any incoming explosives and Fast Hands to get my Smoke Grenade and Trophy Systems out as fast as possible.

I love to load out with the Swat-556 because in my hands, it’s an extremely deadly and versatile weapon in both close-quarter and long-range engagements. The attachments give me more control and compliment the abilities my chosen perks provide. Flak Jacket helps to protect me from all of the chaotic explosions on the battlefield, while Ghost keeps me hidden out of view from any UAVs above. Fast Hands allows me to deploy my Tactical Insertion quickly behind enemy lines and toss away my Semtex with ample time to get back on target with deadly precision. I’ve got a predatory playstyle, so I like to equip Dexterity, because I frequently change positions to situate myself on higher ground with the ease of acquiring targets quickly after sprinting.

I personally use 4-5 different load outs depending on the map and game mode, but this one is my main go-to for my play style. I feel it offers me an all-around versatility, making it pretty safe to use in most situations and modes. I have additional survivability with Flak Jacket when playing defensively, Extreme Conditioning lets me move faster from objective to objective when I’m on the attack, and Hardline gives me some extra help to make sure I’m obtaining my higher Scorestreaks when a high K/D is my strategy – perfect for my style of play.

With the SCAR as my primary, I have consistent all-around damage capabilities, with solid penetration, and can win most gunfights as long as I can control my recoil.  Stock will make me harder to hit while strafing, and silencer will make me harder to find.  FHJ and EMP allow me to pick up extra score against enemy equipment and Scorestreaks.  With claymore and scavenger, I can keep a consistent eye on my back to avoid being flanked.  Flak jacket allows me to survive well placed grenades, nearby Scorestreak explosions, and the adaptability to go for an objective when necessary.

Director/Online, Treyarch
This is a class designed for objective game modes playing in a midfield position. I’m a naturally aggressive player (i.e., I kill but also get killed a lot), so I try to temper my aggressive tendencies with a counter-balance of pushing ahead in the field then holding a forward defensive position. This class supports medium- to long-range engagements with a high-power assault rifle, which is loaded out for attachments to support firing from ADS. The perks and tacticals are designed to seek out and destroy enemy defenses and Scorestreak rewards on the ground so that my teammates can push into objective locations and the enemy’s base of operations. Blind Eye allows me to hold my position at all times, even when the sky is filled with enemy aircraft.

Catch the livestream on Friday, December 14 from noon-2pm PST on the Treyarch YouTube page (http://www.youtube.com/user/Treyarch). The devs will be inviting fans to party up, so tune in and learn how you can join in the action!

Angry Bird Space

The Angry Birds Space Game Guide
The Angry Birds Space game guide contains detailed guidelines for all levels, with descriptions on how to achieve three stars on each one of them. However, due to the fact that the game mechanics relies on the law of physics (the angle and the force of the launch, gravity, etc.), recreating an identical way of completing a level may prove difficult. Each level has been extensively tested and all solutions verified even up to several dozen times. Even so, the guide should only serve as a direction to what the player should aim at in subsequent steps.
Points:
E.g. Estimated score: 7000+ (+2x 10000) = 27000+
Meaning: 7000+ - the number of points you should receive after following instructions described in the guide. The number in brackets indicates the points you get for the birds you’ve saved up. The last number is the sum of the two previous ones.
GUIDE IN PROGRESS
The guide is in the process of writing. Information on the current updates are in the CHANGE LOG section.

CHANGE LOG
29th March, 2012 – the first part of the guide containing the complete description of the first world, Pig Bang.

This powerful predator roams the Americas, where it is also known as a puma, cougar, and catamount. This big cat of many names is also found in many habitats, from Florida swamps to Canadian forests.
Mountain lions like to prey on deer, though they also eat smaller animals such as coyotes, porcupines, and raccoons. They usually hunt at night or during the gloaming hours of dawn and dusk. These cats employ a blend of stealth and power, stalking their prey until an opportunity arrives to pounce, then going for the back of the neck with a fatal bite. They will hide large carcasses and feed on them for several days.
Mountain lions once roamed nearly all of the United States. They were prized by hunters and despised by farmers and ranchers who suffered livestock losses at their hands. Subsequently, by the dawn of the 20th century, mountain lions were eliminated from nearly all of their range in the Midwest and Eastern U.S.—though the endangered Florida panther survives.
Today, whitetail deer populations have rebounded over much of the mountain lion's former range and a few animals have appeared in more eastern states such as Missouri and Arkansas. Some biologists believe that these big cats could eventually recolonize much of their Midwest and Eastern range—if humans allow them to do so. In most western U.S. states and Canadian provinces, populations are considered sustainable enough to allow managed sport hunting.
Mountain lions require a lot of room—only a few cats can survive in a 30-square-mile (78-square-kilometer) range. They are solitary and shy animals, seldom seen by humans. While they do occasionally attack people—usually children or solitary adults—statistics show that, on average, there are only four attacks and one human fatality each year in all of the U.S. and Canada.

The best Dog Breeds

Shiba Inu

 Shiba Inu

Ever wondered what would happen if a fox and a teddy bear got it on? Probably something like a Shiba Inu and a resulting marriage built around the Shiba Inu that slowly devolves into a loveless prison because foxes and teddy bears are just too different. One might worry about the mental toll growing up in a broken home can take, but this is a dog who walks around all day showing its butt to everyone. It’s going to be just fine.
Jack Russell Terrier

 Jack Russell Terrier

Jack Russells are known to people who’ve never seen a real Jack Russell but have seen Frasier as “that cute little quiet dog”, and known to owners of Jack Russells as “Jesus Christ not again. I walked you 20 minutes ago you asshole.” Sure, they run and bark a lot, but they’re also down to chill in front of the TV all day, if that’s what you’re into. They’re the best versions of a lot of different dogs, shrunk down for your convenience.
Boxer

 Boxer

Boxer dogs are named such after their human counterparts because they are lean, powerful, and energetic, and not because they’re violent and insane. If anything, it’s today’s human boxers that give the dogs a bad rap. Let’s call boxer humans something like “punchies” so boxer dogs can lay uninhibited claim to their breed and not be dragged down any further by The Hangover 3.
Newfoundland

 Newfoundland

Newfoundlands are known for their docile nature, fondness of children, and shaggy coats, making them the rough equivalent to Dog Hagrid, which A) Is a perfect comparison befitting a detailed profile of this nature, and B) a movie I desperately want to exist.

Collie Collie

Aside from being all fluffy and adorable, there’ve been about a billion films made about how awesome and helpful and smart Collies are (well, they were all about just one, but a bunch of different Collies had to play it, so there.) How cool are Collies? A friend of mine once excitedly texted me after he’d met and petted one. Really

Beagle

 Beagle

One of the first questions you need to ask yourself as a dog lover is do you prefer floppy or pointy ears? Beagles definitely lead the charge for “floppy”, not only because the sight of their ears dancing in the wind on a cool September morning, when there’s dew on the ground and a ghostly mist in the woods ahead, is food for the soul. But also Snoopy’s a Beagle, and he’s cute as fuck.
Corgi

 Corgi

Corgis have been experiencing a boom in popularity recently. It’s no surprise, given how ridiculously cute and friendly they are. Corgis are also the furry faces of England’s Royal Family, and if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for us. Except for that whole monarchy thing to begin with. And the intermarrying stuff. And haggis. On second thoughts, just give us the dogs and get back to your weird little island.
St Bernard

 St Bernard

It’s hard seeing a St. Bernard and not imagining a terrible incident at the dog factory that caused what should have been a pretty cool, regular dog to become this insanely huge, shaggy, dog-bear hybrid. St. Bernards belong to a class of breeds known as “Giant Dogs” which definitely seems like something people should be discussing more/all the time.
Australian Shepherd

 Australian Shepherd

Amanda Seyfried owns an Australian Shepherd, presumably not just because they share initials, but because they’re gentle, loyal, hard working, and often have that cool thing where both eyes are different colours. They’re a great choice as a companion dog, especially if you’re maybe a little lonely and don’t date as much as you’d want to. I get it, being a successful actress gets in the way of things you might really want sometimes, such as a manageable and meaningful relationship with someone who really gets where you’re coming from/loves Australian Shepherds (which I do!)/maintains his professional integrity at every turn.
Bernese Mountain Dog

 Bernese Mountain Dog

Imagine it: You’re stranded alone, at the very top of a treacherous mountain. It’s been three days since you saw anyone from your group, and four days since you looked your best friend in the eye as he fell from the summit into the snowy depths below. You’re cold, hungry, and about to gnaw off your arms 127-hours-style, not because they’re stuck anywhere but you’re just super bored. Suddenly, over bounds a Bernese Mountain Dog, lumbering up to your side with a cask of whisky round its neck and a sack of hamburgers. That’s the kind of dog this is.
